Menu bar icon is not visible

When I open the app, it shows up but there is no menu bar icon, and when I close it, I have to reopen it again from the launcher.

Hi. The icon doesn't appear in my menu bar at all. All permissions are granted. And constantly launching it via the launcher is too cumbersome for me.

without the menu bar icon there i can't use it quit apps at all. i can't even do what it's namesake is quitting applications
