Support for `scrollTop` & `scrollLeft` for Elements

Searching the code, the issues and the docs I couldn't find support for scrollTop & scrollLeft.
Is this on the roadmap or is the recommendation to use alternatives ways to reach the same result with scroll or scrollTo for elements?

I saw that these functions/APIs are known by the developers, as they are used in the code.
