Not an issue, just wanted to say thanks.

Your kernel module is working fine on my Arch system with the current stable kernel (6.17) and an Orion 2 F15EX. Wine's game controller interface can't show the extra buttons but DCS World running in Wine is picking them up just fine. I was patching the kernel myself to increase the number of HID buttons it supports but a proper device driver is much more ergonomic. Can't wait to see it in the kernel proper.

Just found this repo and want to thank you as well for the effort.
Currently my Sim Hardware is the only reason I still have Windows in dualboot. Will give this is try.

Is there any chance that the 80 Buttons limit in the HID subsystem can be lifted?

I think in could be increased to 112 by adding 32 key codes starting with KEY_MACRO1 for devices with more than 80 buttons, like this module does.

Not an issue, but another thanks for your work! Working nicely on CachyOS. Will keep an eye out for kernel 6.19 to see when this module won't be necessary anymore
