Keeps CPU busy, drains battery #3

@GoogleCodeExporter

Description

@GoogleCodeExporter
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch the torch application (bright screen, LED on)
2. Push the power button (screen goes black, LED off)
3. Wait a few hours, then push the power button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The LED and the screen should come back again. Instead, the battery will be
empty and the phone will refuse to start without pluggin in a charger first.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

0.2.3 on Android 2.3.4 (SonyEricsson Xperia Active)

Please provide any additional information below.

I find it practical that the power button can be used to toggle the screen and
camera LED. Much handier than the stock torch widget, which can only be
controlled via the touch screen (after unlocking the screen). According to
BetterBatteryStats, the phone would remain at the lowest CPU clock setting (not
deep sleep) when the application is ‘paused’ by the power button.

Another minor issue is that when the torch is turned off, I hear a small click,
something like the camera shutter. I do not hear any sound when using the stock
torch widget, or when turning on the torch with this application.
