QR Code feature disappeared

I have Immich server 2.5.3 running with Docker Compose and I access the photos from an Android tablet over tailscale. It works really well.
However, the feature that shows QR codes on the tablet seems to have disappeared. In fact I can find no mention of it in the docs.
It was incredibly useful way of loading the same photo on my phone if I wanted to edit it.

Any hints appreciated...

Are you tapping the upper middle of the screen? An I in a circle should show up.

I am. Nothing happens. Tried single tap, double tap. I rebooted the tablet and it was still not working. In fact the Next and Previous arrows also stopped working. Instead I was seeing a small next or previous icon in the centre of the screen. I then looked in the settings and turned webview ON. That seemed to bring the behaviour back to normal. Next, Previous and QR code are all now working again. I'm unsure what happened to trigger this to begin with, but turning on webview seemed to fix the problem. Thanks.

You must have reinstalled and never enabled, or mistakenly disabled. That was the non webview mode you were seeing for older devices. It doesn’t have the info function.
