Boards available?

Not really an issue, more a question: Are there any boards available for sale? Would love to try this out, but don't have any possibility to make PCBs myself right now.

Hi Severin,

Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately these aren’t available for sale now. I just used Seeedstudio for the first time and it was super cheap and very fast, so maybe that could be a good option for you. Although you’d need to assemble them yourself.

hi guys, i've tried to open the sch on eagle-cad and seems to be corrupted..
I receive this message from eagle-cad:

Loading /home/sbo/temp-files/086-005.sch ...

Error:

line 6, column 41: This is not an EAGLE file.

tried on 6.4 version and 7.7 version, ubuntu and windows, same error..

I want to contribute with a kicad version of the board and a single sided version too, without smd components, in Brazil it's quite annoying to find smd... so if someone could provide me with a schematic pdf, i really appreciate it!

@imoyer are there any special settings that you used on Seeed Studio? Maybe you can share the ones you used. I want to order 20pcs of rev0.4.

@kr15h the seeed BOM is in the rev0.4 folder, and the board settings are FR4, 2-layer, 1.6mm PCB, 1oz copper, pads finished with hasl-lead free, with solder mask cover.

This is what I told them about how to flash and test: "For the testing, this is what I do:

For the atmega328p, can you burn the fuses to
avrdude -c avrisp2 -P usb -p m328p -U efuse:w:0x5:m -F
avrdude -c avrisp2 -P usb -p m328p -U hfuse:w:0xD8:m -F
avrdude -c avrisp2 -P usb -p m328p -U lfuse:w:0xEF:m -F

And load the hex file 086-005a.hex.

To test the board, I plug in a stepper motor and I run a program and
communicate with the board over a RS-485 cable. I splice the cable with
a power cable.

For the software, you'd need to install this library:
http://github.com/nadya/pygestalt
and in the examples folder, run the python script htmaa/single_node.py

The software will prompt you to press the push button, and will move the
motor.

Seems like now SeeedStudio requires a different structure of the BOM. Only 4 columns. I am working on it and will submit a pull request.
