Generalize data stream

Develop one generalized data format and API, so that different projects/interfaces can use it without building data collection systems for each separately. This abstracts away how and where data is being collected and just gives you access to it in a standard format.

Use something like RDF structure? Metric name, timestamp, value, display unit, source name, etc.
