[Editor] App crashes when closing editor tab with active selection

Describe the bug
If an editor has a selection and you close that particular editor tab, the whole app crashes

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to any project
2. Open one of your files
3. Select something
4. close the active editor tab(of the file you just opened)
5. The whole app crashes.

Expected behavior
The tab should close but the app shouldn't crash.
