Bug Description

When I'm trying to change the values for winsorizing, it opens an excel spreadsheet but deletes the analyses already completed and also 11 participants' data. It often also crashes during/afterward.

Expected Behaviour

It should open the excel and synchronise the current data to a new spreadsheet for editing. I'm very new to jasp and so this could very easily be a user error.

Steps to Reproduce

1. I click "synchronise"
2. I click "generate new dataset"
3. It opens an excel file, deletes the data and the analyses/tables.
4. It crashes lol

thx for the report. Note that you can also just edit the data within jasp as a workaround.

I cannot reproduce on linux flatpak with libreoffice. Obviously someone with windows and excel from the team should also check this. So we will investigate.
In the meantime you could help us out with more details:

• check if >1 JASP version is installed, delete all, reinstall only the latest
• post your system info:
• try an upgrade of your Operating System
• use a different installer:
• share your .jasp file. ZIP it or rename it to .zip first. Then drag&drop it here (email attachment does not work).
