[Feature Request] Adding Joomla custom fields/Implement to com_jem

Integrating the native Joomla custom field functionality would be a great addition to the events display. This would allow for an unlimited number of modifications. There is an outdated guide at https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Adding_custom_fields/Implement_into_your_component/en.

This would be cool and I've got it in mind, but I know it's a big change and would need a lot of dev/testing time.

Let's make a note of it for the future, but at the moment, there are other higher-priority things at the moment. Our time is limited for everyone, and and we'd all love to move faster in implementing improvements.

If you want to give us a hand with the base code for this, we'd really appreciate it and it would help us move forward.
