'spec_dir' is a slightly misleading term because we can actually specify multiple directories.

It wasn't obvious to me until I read the source code that I could specify multiple directories to be looked inside.

I propose that `config.spec_dir` be renamed to `config.spec_dirs`, which is semantically more precise.
