I am using docker-firefox to enable an old iPad to access tools like Home Assistant. When I bookmark the page to the iPad home screen, it has the Firefox icon. I'd like to change that to Home Assistant - as far as I can tell, that means I need to overwrite the icons in the docker-firefox container.
I may eventually create a new container based on this one and write this in a
dockerfilebut for the moment I'm just trying to do the work manually.I see as part of the existing
dockerfilea call to run the shell command that sets the images up per the base-image's expectations.I didn't know if the
install_app_icon.shwas still available in the resulting docker image, or if I could even re-run it again, so I haven't bothered with that.Running docker-firefox, I extracted the images located in
/opt/novnc/images/iconsand created updated ones based on the Home Assistant assets available here. I then copied them back into the docker container and overwrote the existing icons.Obviously I'm doing this wrong. If I wanted to replace the icons, what are possible ways to do so?
