[Feature request] Option to ignore duplicates

Idea

Excellent product, it works exactly as intended. I have a small issue that doesn't seem wide-spread. My specific disc drive (ASUS DRW-24F1ST) auto-closes (re-inserts) after a minute or two. This results in lots of duplicates of the same movie bloating the output directory. I searched to see if there was an option to allow auto-ejecting but NOT auto-closing, but I didn't see one. This seems like a niche issue, however, so maybe another solution is possible:

Right now, makemkv creates a new directory with a random string of characters when a directory with the same name exists. Could there be an option to instead ignore a disc when the directory with the same name would be created? This would prevent duplicates. Or maybe there's a more elegant way to prevent duplicates. I would appreciate it, thank you. Open for discussion of course.

I searched to see if there was an option to allow auto-ejecting but NOT auto-closing, but I didn't see one.

Just to clarify: the auto-close is done by the drive itself, not by the container. There is probably a way to disable this feature on the drive.

In this scenario, do you really need the container to automatically eject the disc ? In any case, if the drive auto closes, it seems that a manual action from the user would be required.
