Flowchart Comment Syntax

I just found that there is a commenting syntax to build the flowcharts. I've tried to summarize it below:

$ : regular blue comment at no zoom level
$1 : blue comment zoom level 1
$2 : blue comment zoom level 2
$ [ ] : white comment (not sure how it know what zoom level to make it at?)

Is that basically how it works? How do you add the possible STOPs?
