Support native context menu in widgets

Hi, loving Super Favorites so far! One small feature request that I have is to have support for native context menu for SF items.

Currently, if I create an SF folder and put some addons in this folder, and create a widget linked to this SF folder, then this SF folder will appear on home screen with all the SF items inside. However, if I activate the context menu for these items, I will only get 2 options:

• Add to Favorites: global default by Kodi, no issues
• Super Favorites menu: seems useless according to Cannot hide "Super Favorites Menu" item in context menu #6
• Add to Super Favorites: not too useful (since it's already an SF item), but still acceptable I guess

It would be great if the items in the native context menu for this item can appear as well, eg: Information, Disable, Settings for Addons

• context menu from homescreen SF widget: only Add to favorites / SF
  

• context menu from SF item: Add to favorites /SF + SF additional context menu items
  

• context menu from native browser: Add to favorites / SF + content-specific context menu items (in this case, "Information", "Disable", "Settings" because the item is a Program item)
  

I want to ask if it's possible for homescreen SF widget to support context menu from native browser (as if I am browsing that item from its original location)

I'm working on the next release at this time.
So far, I've fixed the problem related to SF settings and the context menu.
That functionality was broken but it will work correctly in the next release. In the current release, I discovered that if you turn off all setting for the context menu, nothing would change. In other words, the menu items were having no effect on the operation of the context menu in SF.

Whether or not this will solve the issue you are discussing, I don't have an answer for you. However, I did discover that SF supports plugins. Plugins add new functionality to SF and can be added to the context menu. When the new release comes out, let me know if the settings will let you add the items you want to the context menu.

hi @jmooremcc thanks a lot for your help! I have tried version 2.2.6:

• Enable global Super Favourites menu : seems like it just helps me to select the menu items to display in the context menu of items when browsing inside Super Favourites. Whether I toggle this switch on or off, it doesn't change the context menu items. This also doesn't affect the context menu of SF home screen widgets <-- not sure if this is intentional, since the setting is called "global menu".
• Show Super Favourites menu item on standard context menu : toggling this on/off will display/hide the "Super Favourites Menu" that doesn't do anything.
• Addons on the whitelist will not display the global Super Favourites menu : seems like this is broken as well, since I can't config the whitelist. Or maybe I just don't know how to use this.

You mentioned that SF supports plugins. Can you share an example of a plugin? It's an additional addon that I need to install?

Don't know how well it works. However, at one time the original author had downloadable plugins for SF.

As far as the context menu, trying clearing your cache. That setting works on both my Windows PC and LibreELEC system running on a RPi4.
