Is there any settings that need to be set or it simply stopped working?

update: It turns out that I added a blank line after the last entry in the "Exceptions" list, effectively disabling the extension on all webpages. So is it possible to strip all blank lines in the list when saving the settings?

Good you've found the issue culprit. I'm marking this as a bug and I'll be fixing it on next version.
