FR: Allow to create temporary sessions with the imported text from other applications

I just discovered this app and I think it has great potential to replace (and even be better) than commercial alternatives such as BoltAI.

One feature that I´m using a lot is the global shortcut to proof read text from other application (e.g using Command + Shift + I to open the menu). However, I think the fact that the result text is typed back directly into the app that the user is focusing is messy, since if I change the window while the model is producing text, the Sidekick will continue sending keys to other applications 😱 .

Describe the solution you'd like
BoltAI allows to create individual sessions with the proofreader code imported from another application, so it is easier to wait the model to answer, instead of stopping all the work to avoid messing up with the text.

Let me look into this; I agree that directly typing into the app can sometimes lead to unwanted consequences.

Given that this is a somewhat substantial change, it might need to wait until after the stable release. If you are willing to create a PR for this feature, that'd be great too!

Thanks for considering this new feature! Unfortunately I'm not an Apple developer myself but I'm willing to test an unstable version if you need. Regarding the change itself, even a simple window will be fine as an MVP for this, no need for something fancy.

I want to come back to this point: when dealing with a thinking model, the results are even less useful, as the thinking model outputs the text in the same window you are working on. So the model will overwrite your original text with:

The main points are:

and then, it will answer with the text that you want. This is very awkward to work with and I think it can be improved with this kind of temporary session.

I've been quite busy lately, so I haven't had much time to work on Sidekick in general.

Currently, I'm focusing on supporting macOS 26 and the new UI design language. Will come back to this when I have more time. 👍
