Install problem

I just tried to install your wiki, but it seems that the content under /wiki is not loaded, nor is the css.
I tried to use apache , as well as PHP -S ...., but both methods seem to have the same problem.

Hi,

If you can give me more details about your server, I can give more specific advice, but here are things to check (note: they're listed in a "top-down" order but I think the last one is the most likely solution):

• You said you "tried to use apache." This could imply that you don't ordinarily use Apache, but tried it for this installation. If you don't normally use Apache, you'll need to convert the .htaccess file to whichever server you're running. I can provide a configuration for Nginx if you like.
• Assuming you are using Apache, make sure you have mod_rewrite enabled.
• It's possible it's a permissions issue. This seems unlikely because the css files are located under core/ which is the same directory that many of the php files are loaded under. If PHP can't see core/, then ittywiki shouldn't work at all!
• If you have mod_rewrite enabled but have not changed the default redirect, you may need to. The default .htaccess assumes you're running ittywiki out of /ittywiki. If you aren't, change line 10 ("RewriteBase") of .htaccess to whichever directory you're using. For instance, if you're running it straight of out the root directory, the line should read RewriteBase /.

Apache Installation is running on Windows, though this should be no problem.
I used the default folder name 'ittywiki', rewrite is enbled. I'm working with systems like grav, so the current php (5.6) and apache installation is running fine.

I did not however change anything in the .htaccess file.

Also permission should be no issue since the local instalation under windows simply has all rights to do whatever it wants. There are no restrictions whatoever.

Have you tried enabling debug mode? Create a file, config.php, in your install root (same folder as core and wiki) with contents g::set('debug', true);

Do any errors show up? What shows up when you try to load ittywiki?

Hmm... this definitely sounds like a redirection problem to me. The fact that it shows the 404 page at all means that ittywiki is able to load itself - only it can't find its own pages, for whatever reason.

To be honest, I'm kinda stumped... but you might want to try:

• Backup your wiki folder and create a new one. Create a file, index.txt, inside the new wiki folder. Type something into it, like hello, world! or whatever. See if that changes anything.
• Change line 4 (DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR) of ittywiki.php in the root to: define(DS, '/');
• In core/system.php, add a line with dump(g::get('root.wiki')); after the line containing new ittywiki();. That will print the directory ittywiki thinks your wiki files should be in when you load a page. See if it matches what you think it should be.

In /core/ittywiki.php line 23, in render():
$path = implode('', $path);
$path is empty. If empty, I changed it to "/" and the index.txt page rendered.
