website.log file too big

Is there any possibility to clear the .log file every 30 days? Since the graph only shows information from the last 30 days, there is no need to keep the file with such an old date. My suggestion was when we were going to check the data/graphs, it would clear days behind the last 30 days in the .log file.

I make this code to put inside the check of lastsummarize (line 5, tracker.php file). If pass the 1 hour (default) or $force, checks the old lines from 31+ days older of log files and delete that. Can you translate this in Phyton, to dont block/wainting to render the page from PHP? Because if have a lot files (32 days) and multiple websites whit analytics, go make the page stop rendering until the 'clean' finish... :( In Phyton the command is called and the PHP continuos, right?
