like the attract intro and the first stage cutscenes this doen't happen in real hardware

Ahh yes, this bug was on the PS2 version and TC2 on PCSX2. The problem is that the cut scenes are 60fps but the emulator isn't running the cut scenes at 60 fps, maybe at 30 fps. The tutorial video is perfect because it's a 30fps video
