Create standardised logger #46
Description
Currently, messages sent to the Matlab command window are implemented in an ad hoc fashion with little consistency. A standardised logger that can be called from anywhere in the package would make this process easier. This would also help communicate pipeline steps during program execution, which is also inconsistent at the moment.
