thank you for your contribution.
I think you likely suggest creating a Tree-sitter grammar for parol's own grammar format, which would allow any editor with Tree-sitter support to provide rich editing features for .par files, right?
Parol already provides a language server and an extension for VS Code to support features like syntax highlighting, go to definition, rename symbols, format source etc. I heard from other users that they successfully integrated the language server into editors like Vim, Neovim and Helix.
