The issue is in reality boss has 6k hp but it shows 17k + hp

Can you share more info? A screenshot of the bossbar alone isn't enough to diagnose.

Please send:

• Your boss YAML file (the whole thing)
• Output of /plugins
• Server version + Boss version

Most likely another plugin (MythicMobs, healthbar plugin, etc.) is rendering that bossbar, or you have a Health attribute set in the boss config that overrides the base 6k. Boss's own bossbar reads directly from the entity's actual HP, so if the displayed value is wrong, something else is feeding it.

That link points back to our earlier conversation — I still need the actual boss YAML content for this issue to debug the HP mismatch.

Please paste the full contents of Boss/bosses/BOSSdykumosKaralius.yml here as text (not as a zip), specifically the Health: and Attributes: sections. Two common causes:

1. Attributes: section overrides Health: — if you have GENERIC_MAX_HEALTH or MAX_HEALTH set there, that wins over the Health key. Set it to match 6000.
2. Another plugin's bossbar — what does the bossbar text in your screenshot say exactly? If it shows a name/format you didn't configure in Boss, something else is rendering it.

Also confirm your /plugins list — any healthbar/bossbar plugin like MythicMobs, BossBarAPI, HealthBar, etc.?

Found it — the SCALE: 2.2 attribute in your config. In Minecraft 1.20.5+, vanilla generic.scale multiplies the entity's max health on top of the base value, so your 6000 HP boss ends up much higher than what /boss menu shows.

Set SCALE back to 1.0 (or remove the line) in your boss YAML and respawn the boss. If you want a bigger boss visually, scale is unfortunately tied to health in vanilla — there's no way around that without changing health to compensate.

Also, can you paste your /plugins output as text? The screenshots are hard to read, and I want to rule out a second cause (LevelledMobs, MythicMobs, MMOCore etc. can also modify max health).

Yeah, looked through your list. Nothing there should be inflating the boss HP — LevelledMobs/MythicMobs aren't installed. The culprit is the SCALE: 2.2 attribute I mentioned. Set it back to 1.0 (or remove it) and respawn the boss, the bossbar will match.
