Description
Hey, @keirf !
I want to add support for Heathkit H17 5.25" SSSD 10 hard sectors but got into troubles of reading actual floppy disk right away...
So input:
multiple 5.25" 10 hard sectored disks with data (HDOS and CP/M)
written fresh (2-3 months ago) on the same Siemens 100-5 drive that is being used for reads
tested to work and boot on Heathkit H-8 + H-17
also have 3 other drives that tried to read them on (all drives are cleaned/lubed etc, work perfectly fine with ibm.scan for FAT12 images)
So HW side should be good, no alignment issues, old/bad media etc.
Trying to read raw flux and decode it, looking for 0x0 filed gaps and header - getting garbage... after checking with HxC I noticed that in "test_hard.scp" (with --raw, no format) sectors look misaligned. In "test_hard_no_raw.scp" You can clearly see all sectors spaced correctly, but flux looks weak? only one sector shows as green. I am a bit confused what to check else if I can't even get correct raw flux file.
