Firstly, this is a really cool project, and thank you so much for sharing it! I am really looking forward to building it.

I have one question though - would it be possible to connect a real 3" external drive to the interface with the correct cable?

@konkotgit any thoughts on this? I see the README.md says "Standard capacity is 173K per diskette side.", which looks promising.
