Connection fails

When I try to follow the instructions in the README it works great until I attempt the connection. That ends up failing with:

```
QObject::connect: Cannot connect QQuickRectangle_QML_1:: to eqmlLink::link(QVariant)
connection fail
```

This is a really cool idea and I'd like to get it working.
