Before you read the register in the hotel lobby, if you look at door 33 Gabriel says something like "It's a hotel room door; not mine, though." and if you try to knock on it he just says "I don't know who's staying there."
After you read the register, if you look it triggers the new dialogue where he says "the register says...", but if you go to knock it plays the OLD look dialogue instead of the "I wouldn't know what to say if they came to the door" dialogue that every other door has.
