Hey folks πŸ‘‹

I'm Rafael, one of the people behind FFmate β€” an open source automation layer we built to make life easier for folks working with FFmpeg across different projects.

At its core, it wraps FFmpeg with:

  • a job queue
  • a simple REST API
  • support for reusable presets
  • watchfolders, batch submission, and webhooks

We were tired of rewriting the same scripts and wiring things together every time we needed to process media files, so FFmate grew out of that repetition. It’s still evolving, but it’s been solid in our day-to-day work, and we figured it might be useful for others too.

Thanks for maintaining this project β€” we’re big fans!!
Rafael
