it's be a great new feature if MerchantPlus added a panel that displays the appearance of whatever you're pointing at. Or it simply opened the Dressing Room without needing to hold the control key.

This is a pretty complicated thing to do, I think. It might be better implemented in an addon that handles item tooltips, because I think it would just work with Merchant Plus since I just rely on the base tooltip functionality from the regular merchant UI. I wonder if there's something that already exists that could provide this feature for you.
