Navigation via drag and scroll

The current navigation is little cumbersome with "hand controller" like interface.

On the desktop, drag to pan and scroll to zoom in/out would be very helpful.

The code already exists and it was working till Chrome 36 update. In Chrome 36, it seems that SVG elements aren't receiving events. It works on Firefox and IE. I am looking into the Chrome issue.

I have pushed out changes to fix this. Please try it out now.

I checked your update in Chrome 36, and yes, I am able to drag and scroll now, though the area in which I can do it is limited. I can't drag in all places of the graphics.

If it is working in Firefox and IE(!) then I suggest you don't worry about Chrome. It is probably a transient bug in Chromium.
