Can the output of the script by a sub-task instead of a task?

I would like to templatize subtasks.

My use case is that I have a project called "Support Tickets" which contains tasks for each ticket I'm dealing with. I would like to be prompted with one of the tasks in this project and then have my output made a subtask of the selected ticket.

I understand the use case. Unfortunately, I am unlikely to be able to tackle this in the near future.

Well I may fork and put in a pull request then. Don't really want to work in AppleScript, but c'est la vie. I was hoping there was an easy answer.
