COMAL SuperChip troubles with C128 VDC output

This SuperChip is supposed to be launched in c64 mode, not 128, but then is able to direct output to the 80 column VDC chip.

Just type "use C128", then the PRINT80(1,1,"THING") command works fine when you switch to 80 column mode to see the output.

But if you do select output "u7:" to direct further output to the VDC, and for instance try to LIST a small current program, the core hangs.

It might be because VDC support in C64 is not complete!

Does it happen with standalone or not..

The standalone 128 cartridge is another beast altogether, it starts in 128 mode with 80 columns not only for output but also for editing. It seems to work fine

I meant standalone VICE. The core can also start in VDC mode.
