Summary

Add a new skill that encodes Intercom Fin AI best practices and optimization patterns for the LFX support team. This skill gives Claude the knowledge to advise on improving Fin resolution rates, writing effective Fin Guidance, optimizing Help Center content for AI, and building continuous improvement workflows.

What this skill should do

  • Advise on writing Fin Guidance rules using if-then logic and specific examples
  • Help optimize Help Center content for both human readers and Fin's AI search
  • Guide teams through daily/weekly review rituals using Topics Explorer and Suggestions
  • Explain escalation patterns including AI Summaries at handoff and Fin re-engagement workflows
  • Provide resolution rate benchmarks from real-world Fin deployments (55% → 80%+ trajectories)
  • Advise on Fin Attributes for automatic conversation categorization and tagging
  • Cover Copilot use cases for human agents beyond simple Q&A
  • Help prepare Help Center content for product releases using content tagging
  • Explain Fin Procedures/Tasks and when to use each

Acceptance Criteria

  • lfx-intercom-fin-best-practices/SKILL.md created with proper frontmatter (name, description)
  • lfx-intercom-fin-best-practices/references/community-tips-detailed.md included with sourced tips from the Intercom Community
  • Skill correctly triggers on Fin-related optimization questions and advises with specific, actionable guidance
