Create search plugin

I want to be able to type : google some query and have Hbot post the first 1-3 links in the chat.

After initial investigation, I think I might favor DuckDuckGo's Instant Answer API. It appears to be simpler, and I don't see a requirement for an API key. Also, the ! redirects would allow this to be a more general interface to other searches.

I'm now thinking the command would be : search valley forge national park or : search !imdb rushmore (although I kind of like ducky or quack too).

So, I'm not sure I get the utility of the bang commands in the API? Sure, on the site it's handy to write !amazon product rather than product site:amazon.com, but in the api, it just does a redirect. In that case we might as well just program in whatever site specific searches we want into the plugin anyway.
