Gromacs stmv_v2 #839
Description
Simple one node test for AMD GPUs.
- @pszi1ard and @rfhaque to get to a package.py that will work on clang > 18 in Features/gromacs #835
- @pszi1ard will add an experiment for stmv_v2
- @pszi1ard will test stmv_v2 on Lumi, and provide us with performance numbers that are reasonable
- @rfhaque will test on Tioga to compare performance numbers (Flux)
- @hagertnl will test on Frontier Add Frontier #631 to compare performance numbers (Slurm)
If performance numbers do not match, we will need to investigate affinities
- Do Lumi/Tioga/Frontier reserve cores for the OS? Cores reserved for the OS #838
- Are there threads thrashing or oversubscribed cores? Zerosum modifier #837
- Curious if the NIC affinities are the same on the 3 systems NIC affinity modifier #836
- Curious if the hwloc modifier outputs the same on the 3 systems
