Converting BibTeX references to markdown

This is more of a feature request or a question.

Would it be possible to use DocDown to convert the markdown with BibTeX references to markdown with all the references resolved, linked and listed at the bottom of the file?

Hi! At the moment I only envision DocDown converting to .docx files (otherwise I'd have to change the name! 😉). At a later date, I'd like to include an option to be able to configure custom Pandoc commands, so at that point as long as Pandoc can handle it (and I'm not actually sure Pandoc can convert from Markdown to Markdown-with-references), you'll be able to set up a conversion as you want.
