SIL tracer sequence not working

When running the SIL, the tracer sequence doesn't log all CAN frames. Some frames get logged, but others don't seems very inconsistent. When tracers are set up alone with a bus manager in a test, tracers work perfectly. So the issue must have something to do with the states in tracer sequence, or the hilapp.
