How to add GSTIN on GST Portal?

Follow the steps below carefully to correctly add a new GSTIN account in JAMKU and ensure proper functionality.

Step 1: Log in to the JAMKU Portal

• Open your browser and go to the JAMKU portal.
• Enter your login credentials to access your account.

Step 3: Add a New GSTIN

• At the bottom-left of the screen, find the search bar.
• Click the “Add” button next to it.
• The Add New Account dialog box will open.
• At the top-right of this dialog, you will see the number of GSTINs remaining in your account balance.

Step 4: Fill in GSTIN Details

Field	Description
Name (mandatory)	Internal reference name for the GSTIN. This can differ from the portal username.
GSTIN (mandatory)	Enter the valid 15-character GSTIN.
Portal Username (mandatory)	The registered username for logging in to the GST portal. ⚠️ Cannot be edited once saved.
Portal Password (optional if using vault)	Password for accessing the GST portal using the above username.
Client No.	Internal temporary client reference
Group No.	Internal group number for categorization (optional).
Group	Assign the GSTIN to a specific client group (optional).

Step 5: Save

• After entering all the required and optional information, click the SAVE button.
• The GSTIN will now be added to the system.

Important Notes

• GSTIN Balance Reduces Upon Addition: Each new GSTIN added decreases your available balance.
• Deleted GSTINs Do Not Restore Balance: Once deleted, a GSTIN does not return the used balance. Add carefully.
