How do you create :

start: '20200702T080000Z',
end: '20200702T2030000Z',

Everyone uses carbon or moment so i am curious as to what method / format are you using to get these dates?

It's just a text, maybe you confused that is the month placed before or after the day, right?
This date formatted by year-month-day hour-min-sec, i think. You guys can use any format you want, it's just the text that the device can detect is a valid date.

cant get any dates to read
scan via iPhone 12 and results in QR code error when scanned

Actual values come from API but I am hard coding for now to try to see what format works and other than the dates in your example i cant get anything to read and generate a qr code

I think you need to research about date format work with QR Code in iphone devices.
