theta_start argument error in mollusc() function

Hi Marcus--

If I enter -Inf for the theta_start argument of the mollusc() funtion, I receive the following error:

Error in seq.default(theta_start, theta_end, (theta_end - theta_start)/(n_t - :
'from' must be a finite number

For what it's worth: I copied parameters directly from the Cotie paper just to see what the function would do. Any clues about what I might be doing wrong?

Hi inthint, for shells where theta_start is -Inf, I would suggest just setting theta_start equal to zero.

The output of mollusc() is just a set of points with (x, y) coordinates, and setting theta_start to -Inf would require generating an infinite number of points.

The number of points on a curve is determined by theta_start, theta_end, n_t, and there is an interplay between these parameters. You could set theta_start to something like 10^-6, but then the other parameters would require adjusting in order to get full coverage of the shell, and might require a huge number of points. So I would suggest just setting theta_start to zero for those cases.
