Feature description
Goal: Define how WASM workloads are packaged and deployed to the constrained device role.
Note: This type of workload is designated for the "WASM Constrained device".
Provide adequate technical acceptance criteria(s) associated with this feature below:
- Define the changes required to the application description package to support WASM workloads
- Define the Workload Deployment manifest standard for deploying the WASM workload(s) as a fleet.
- Similar to Helm and Compose provider services running on the Standalone device/cluster.
- MUST enable instance specific configurations per deployment
- Define the standard software packaging mechanism supported for this workload type.
- Similar to OCI
Although not required, it is highly encouraged to provide feature use-cases below:
- Support additional device form factors within Margo.
- Enable support for a new and emerging technology for defining and running applications at the edge.
