  • I have searched for my feature proposal and have not found a work-in-progress/duplicate/resolved/discarded issue.
  • This proposal is a completely new feature. If you want to suggest an improvement or an enhancement, please use this template.

Describe the new feature

Hey Marti,

Please bring back the exploration of packages or discovery, and also add a hint of shared stats like newly released and most installed, by collecting anonymous data from UniGet users. Additionally, please add some AI to incorporate more features into this already amazing software manager. The discovery of new tools and being informed about some becoming trendy is always refreshing.

Having access to some of information from Alternativeto, ProductHunt, HackerNews. Etc.

So maybe having jto click a button to get some of the latest news opened in browser in a sort of Perplexity kind pf research (maybe you can get spme sponsorship this way), MS Copilot and Google AI... Myself I prefer that it do this automatically and bring the relevant, important and most up-to-date information inside a section, sort of ultimate changelog.

Describe how this new feature could help users

Maybe maintain the package names and retrieve more details and descriptions. Find some links to add, something that works in the background for some of the features, and something that does that by clicking some buttons. Identify wrong entries in the installed packages list, etc.
