Some variable is not initialized...

In the latest changes for merger resolving, some variable seems to be uninitialized. When built in Debug mode, I can import and use pgmlink in python without problems, but I get a core dump when building it in release mode.

I cannot reproduce the problem on another machine. How about you, @hanslovsky ?
