Latest mate-screenshot on Arch Linux hangs with error when attempting to copy or save a screen shot.

I am using the mate-desktop. The screenshot window opens, but when attempting to save the screenshot or copy the screenshot to the clipboard, it hangs. If it is launched from the terminal and you attempt the same actions, this error appears:

What versions of libgdk-pixbuf and of libglib2.0 do you have installed? There has been a lot of breakage lately (including things outside MATE) from changes in glib2.86, I am blocking that update locally
