Description
This issue comes from the discussion What does “includes learning cards with a 1+ day delay in the review count” mean? in the Anki forum.
When I posted there, I thought that I had a problem with the V3 scheduler: I learn 50 new cards per day, taken from various sub-decks with some logic of which cards to learn in which order, but after switching from V2 to V3, I was suddenly learning far fewer cards per day, despite having many thousands in my queue. My source for the assumption that I was not learning the right number of cards was the Progress Graphs and Stats for Learned and Matured Cards add-on.
DAE suggested that I look in the Anki Browser to determine how many cards I had actually learned each day, and I had actually learned 50, as expected. This indicated to me that that there was some problem with how Progress Graphs and Stats for Learned and Matured Cards determines and displays how many cards I learned each day, rather than a problem with how the V3 scheduler chooses which cards for me to learn.
I'm not sure how to share screenshots here, but I've replicated the issue every day for the past few days - learning 50 cards, but seeing a graph that shows a far smaller number.
