Application Supersampling always 0.3?

For some reason when i bring up the advanced settings in VR, i always see 0.3 for application supersampling (even if in 2D in steamvr for the application i have it set to 100%, which i would have assumed is 1.0)?

Anyone know what might be going on.. i've tried uninstalling steamvr and reinstalling but still the same.

If you change the value it doesnt stick.
