Won't log into Spotify

Just downloaded this and installed it. But it fails at the first hurdle, I just get a login failed error. Any ideas what might cause this?

Previous reports indicate a similar failure. User A-Gochnio had a potential solution: "Yeah, ok, I found a solution. It's because Spotify changed it's API again.

You need to copy contents of that file into data/node_modules/spotify-web/lib/spotify.js file, over the previous declaration of Spotify.prototype.sendPong function. Basically replace the block of code that begins like that file, with the contents of that file. Then restart the app.js."

The biggest issue is that if you are using Facebook to login you will often have a two-step authentication issue. The Spotify login through Portify does not open the screen where you can input the generated code. If you have a separate email and password associated with your Spotify you can login with those, but Facebook logins are not supported right now unless two-step authentication is disabled.
