how to install hdf 1.8.0 or above?

I tried many times to install hdf 1.8.0
but i still can't build blasr. many error may occured by gcc version ,I want to know which version are you used to build?
It's better to supply a detailed commands description

Hi, we are no longer supporting blasr. I suggest you try lra: https://github.com/ChaissonLab/lra or minimap2 Best, -Mark
