Pause between the High and low intensity (synch test)

Actually the synch test run for 40 trial ,
20 trials with high intensity
20 trials with low intensity

by the middle of them , there is a tiny pause of 1s , we might want to remove it because people are confused about this pause.

could we based on a random variable start 50% of trials with high intensity first (and low second) and the other 50% start with low intensity and then high intensity? it would remove the learning bias from the overall data.
