Works with DF 2.x?

Hi,
I'm attempting to follow the tutorial over here to make a basic data entry app. It really just needs to do part of what the DF admin tool allows for data entry, so this looks like a great fit. Is there any plan to make this work for 2.x? I'd be happy to submit what I've got so far as a PR. It only takes minimal changes to get the data to come in, C-UD operations throw more errors.
